There is something about spring, flowers, and granola that I love!  I have been enjoying this crunchy coconutty granola for a few weeks and it is too good not to share!

The recipe comes together quickly and has common ingredients (at least in my household.) Mix together melted coconut oil, honey, vanilla, and cacao powder.  Toss in oats, sliced almonds, coconut, and chai seeds.  Toast at 250 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes (until your coconut flakes are golden.)  Store in an airtight container.  Voila!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup coconut flakes raw
  • 1 tablespoon chai seeds
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon cacao powder

Directions

  1.  Mix together melted coconut oil, honey, vanilla, and cacao powder.
  2. Toss in oats, sliced almonds, coconut, and chai seeds.
  3. Toast on baking sheet at 250 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes (until your coconut flakes are golden.)
  4. Store in an airtight container up to two weeks.
